Day Trip #1 Loveland

The City surrounds scenic Lake Loveland and an impressive outdoor sculpture collection in Benson Park Sculpture Garden. For shopping, there are the Promenade Shops at Centerra, the Outlet Stores, and historic downtown. Day Trip #2 Fort Collins

Day Trip #4 Estes Park- Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes Park is the gateway city to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is open year- round, to display the natural beauty of all four seasons. Note: Getting to Estes Park while Highway 34 is under construction up the Big Thompson canyon can present a challenge.  From Greeley, you’ll need to take Colorado 66 west through Lyons and then U.S. 36 to Estes Park.

Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved highway in the United States, travels through the heart of the national park to Grand Lake, providing access to the beauty of the Alpine Tundra. Some things to do: Stop; watch the mule deer, elk, and big horn sheep; rent a bike, ride the aerial tram, fly fish, cross country ski, hike and more. Trail Ridge is closed late fall through the end of May, based on snow accumulations.
